The civilizations Chulipa-Uru used to live in the western regions of the Andes, near to the Nichin lake. These people had a peaceful and happy life because of the different and numerous natural products of mother nature. But one day, the lake's water started to dry and so was the harvest land. It wasn’t odd that people started dying for weird epidemics. The time of god’s punishment seemed to come. The civilization started to beg salvation to Mama Thunupa who was the supreme goddess. The ñusta or princess called Jiuyra—a star who turned into a princess—arrived as an answer to their petitions. However, she wasn´t welcome by the people and few of them barely heard what she said: “At some point, the path where I walk will be plenty of herbs and grains really resistant to cold weather. These herbs will grow in cold areas, they will reduce hunger and cure diseases. Besides, they will resist droughts.” So, time passed and before the people started to forget her words, they could appreciate a strange plant that emerged from the land. Women called it Jiuyra or quinoa, which feed and cured to civilization. This ecologic presentation has a mix of Red and White Quinoa. Both types of Quinoa are high-quality vegetal sources.
