Tanguis cotton was developed by a Peruvian engineer whose surname, Tanguis, gave its name to this sort of textile. The combination of seed, soil, and climate makes Tanguis cotton have a long fiber. From this variety, you get threads for weave, high-quality t-shirts, drill shirts, and pants fabrics. Tanguis cotton has a long fiber when it is processed correctly. It offers a very soft touch, has excellent absorption, and has a high dye affinity. In addition, it is a very strong and resistant cotton variety making the garments stronger and more durable.
